Reverend Joshua Fox has been a pastor for 16 years, serving as an Associate and Worship pastor in the Greater Cincinnati area and in Massachusetts. A native of Columbus, Indiana, Josh originally went to Indiana University to teach elementary school, a career he upheld bivocationally until going into full time ministry. Josh loves to teach and preach, and has a passion for bringing God’s Word to life for all age groups. He also loves to sing and play instruments, including the piano and guitar. Josh and his wife, Candy, have been married for 15 years and have three wonderful children, who keep them very active in a variety of outdoor activities.
John Bonham is a man who is dedicated to the well-being of his family of faith. He is regularly involved in both praying for change in the community and participating in it as well. John's love for his wife, Deborah, and his surrounding community are second only to his love for the Lord. John and Deborah reside in Upland, IN; they met and fell in love at Taylor University. Go Trojans!
Zera has a passion for seeing to the development and safety of our youngest members. She has had years of experience with the little ones which has only increased her love and compassion for them. Zera and her husband Rob volunteer in many ways behind-the-scenes to make our congregation's ministry identifiable and effective.
Emily Love has been leading worship for over 30 years, currently serving as the Worship Leader at Hartford City Wesleyan Church. She grew up in a faith-filled home and has a deep passion for worship, which she carried into the churches she and her husband Ed planted. Emily teaches choir and art at Wes-Del Middle/High School, where she also leads the FCA Huddle and helps with the music for school plays. You might also catch her singing the National Anthem at sports events. When she’s not working or at church, Emily loves spending time with her husband and three kids, cheering them on at their games or performances. She enjoys relaxing with long walks, podcasts, and a good book.
Michael Colaw is the Youth and Discipleship Pastor here at Hartford City Wesleyan. He is originally from St. Louis and moved to Indiana for college in 2018. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022 and has served in the ministry since 2022. Michael loves teaching and working with the youth ensuring that the next generation of church leaders are ready for the challenges ahead. He has a passion for the study of God’s Word and music, playing both guitar and bass guitar.
Sarah Swift has attended HCWC for her entire life along with her family. She graduated from Ball State University with an administrative degree and has used this in a variety of roles including her current job at Team Rehabilitation. She has enjoyed working on the media team since 2002, as well as other teams within the church. She enjoys meeting new people in her role as the HCWC administrative assistant. In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with her husband Kyle and two girls, Elsie and Josie. They love taking walks together and have the goal to visit every MLB stadium in the future.
